First on the Alliance side to get Fangs of the Father, the Legendary rogue daggers, Dood is spreading his wings as the sun (or possibly moon, in hindsight) sets on Stormwind.

We also got our first mount from Deathwing, which went to our mount deposit box, Kantarel.

This also follows on a very good week for us, with both Heroic Zon'ozz and Heroic Hagara down, the latter kill available on Youtube. Neither posed much of a problem, but as we have not been able to gather much in the way of progression raids since mid January, they had remained out of reach.

Kantarel got our second Dragonwrath legendary despite a bit of quest wonkiness, which got worked out by a lightning response from the GMs. Congratulations to her.

Deathwing caused us no end of trouble, the first two weeks with poor raid setups, and then mostly related to too low damage for either the last platform, or the last phase. In a pretty much perfect attempt we finally got him down. Deathwing proved to be nicely tuned, though as with most final bosses the rather long wait (the fight is ~15 minutes long) for the challenging part can be a bit painful. Now on to Heroics. And Christmas.

Our exploding sacrifical gnome, Mushanga, got our first Dragonwrath legendary tonight. Congratulations to him and the guild. As can be seen from the screenshot below we celebrated by copying his legendary 9 times, using cunning alchemy.

This string of achievements were easier than we expected, though Alysrazor held us up for a little bit, and we sadly lost Kantarel there - she was totally cussing out Mushanga afterwards, who kept stealing her buffs... anyways, good job on an Alliance first.
